Lincoln Park Engagement Session | Lisabeth and Byron

Lisabeth and Byron's Lincoln Park Engagement session

I am so excited to be sharing Lisabeth and Byron’s engagement session at Lincoln Park with you today!! Get ready to have your heartstrings tugged by their incredible love story! When the world was facing unprecedented challenges in the fall of 2020, these two amazing individuals found solace and connection in the most unexpected way. Through the magic of technology, their paths intertwined, and their love story began to unfold.

In a time when physical distance kept people apart, Lisabeth and Byron discovered a deep and meaningful bond. Their virtual connection blossomed into something extraordinary, as they shared their hopes, dreams, and passions. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, their love knew no boundaries.

Lisabeth and Byron’s story began on Bumble, a popular dating app. As luck would have it, in-person dining had just resumed in Chicago, where they both resided. After an hour-long video chat that sparked an instant connection, they decided to take the plunge and meet face-to-face. Their first date took place at the charming City Winery, where laughter and conversation flowed effortlessly. And because Byron couldn’t resist sharing a delicious secret, they indulged in mouthwatering burgers at Small Cheval—something Lisabeth had never experienced before.

From that moment on, Lisabeth and Byron were inseparable. Week after week, their bond grew stronger, and their relationship blossomed amidst shared values, similar backgrounds, and a deep understanding of one another. They discovered a unique harmony in being completely themselves, knowing they had found their perfect match. Together, they dreamt of a future filled with love, support, and endless possibilities.

How did Byron propose?

And then came the magical proposal. With plans to tie the knot at the City of Chicago Courthouse, Byron couldn’t let the occasion pass without officially popping the question. Despite the short period of engagement that awaited them (just five days!), he was determined to make it unforgettable. Lisabeth had a feeling something special was about to happen, and one December weekend, as they strolled through a beloved courtyard downtown, her suspicions were confirmed.

Amidst the twinkling lights, Byron reached into his inner jacket pocket, momentarily getting caught on the fabric—a moment that allowed Lisabeth to comprehend the significance of the moment, bringing tears of joy to her eyes. With bated breath, he knelt down on one knee, holding a ring that symbolized a lifetime of love and devotion. In that magical instant, Lisabeth happily accepted his heartfelt proposal. Their engagement was sealed with a resounding “Yes!” And just a week later, they exchanged vows at the courthouse, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones.

Now, Lisabeth and Byron are eagerly preparing for their upcoming wedding day, which promises to be an extraordinary celebration of love, cultural fusion, and cherished memories. Having initially shared their courthouse ceremony over Zoom, they are thrilled to embrace their family and friends in person, uniting their cultures and creating a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Lincoln Park Engagement Session at Sunset

As their wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing their love in a stunning engagement session. We spent a blissful summer day at the breathtaking Lincoln Park, where Lisabeth and Byron’s radiant personalities shone through effortlessly. Their chemistry was electric, and their genuine affection for one another made every snapshot a true work of art. We ventured to North Ave Beach to capture the iconic Chicago skyline at sunset—a truly magical backdrop that added an extra touch of enchantment to their Lincoln Park engagement session. Despite the bustling beach volleyball tournament and the myriad of people enjoying the summer vibes, we found a small secluded spot where the cityscape served as a backdrop, perfectly encapsulating their love story.

I must say, working with Lisabeth and Byron was an absolute delight. Their genuine connection and willingness to be their authentic selves made my job feel like a breeze. We spent the majority of our time laughing, chatting about their upcoming wedding at Trump Tower in downtown Chicago.

Love is in the air, and their wedding promises to be an absolute dream come true. Join me in celebrating their love and wishing them a lifetime of happiness and togetherness!
