Chrissy and Joe’s Wedding

September was one of the busiest months for our team here at Crane’s Photography! With seven weddings to shoot, the time just flew by – and Joe and Kristin’s Butterfield Country Club wedding was the perfect send-off into fall and the holiday season.

The first things you notice about Krissy and Joe are their kindness and easy-going demeanor. They’re one of those couples that have the rare ability to make everyone around them happy! And this trait certainly set the tone for their posh DuPage County wedding.

Everyone was in high spirits when the big day rolled around. We started the day off at Westin Chicago River North where we were treated with incredible views of the Chicago River and city. Krissy is an avid lover of flowers, so the Westin’s garden (and gorgeous roses!) were the perfect backdrop for this enchanting couple’s first look. Afterward, we hit the city and took pictures all over downtown.

An Elegant Butterfield Country Club Wedding Reception

Following a heartfelt traditional ceremony at St. Petronille Catholic Church in Glen Ellyn, friends and families joined the couple for a reception at Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook.

If there’s one thing everyone knows about Krissy and Joe, it’s that they share a mutual love for golf. Their love for golf is actually what brought them together in the first place and Joe even proposed on a golf course. In-kind, it was natural that they would pick this tony country club in Du Page County for their reception.

Every aspect of the wedding and reception went off without a hitch. Right down to the last detail; everything was perfect. Crisp, sunny weather; amazing food; live music and the uproarious joy of their friends and family.

Enjoy a sneak peek at some of my favorite images from the day. And don’t be too envious when you think about Krissy and Joe off on their honeymoon – to Hawaii!!!

And you two lovebirds, thank you once again for inviting me to join in your special day. It truly was a treat. Aloha!
