Sam and Dave’s engagement session was a joyous one! Our adventure led us through the scenic Lincoln Park and North Ave Beach, my go-to spots for capturing stunning photos.

Everything aligned perfectly—the weather, the sunshine, and of course, the radiant couple. The peak of Fall foliage in Chicago was fashionably late this year, thanks to a particularly rainy September and October. Despite having to reschedule their engagement session twice due to weather challenges, Sam and David reaped the benefits. Taking place two weeks into November, the session exuded the charm of October, providing us with a magical evening at one of my favorite photography locations.

A Love Story That Began with a Swipe

Their love story commenced with a simple swipe on the Hinge dating app, where shared interests and easygoing vibes ignited an immediate connection. Despite neither being coffee enthusiasts, their first date unfolded in a quaint coffee shop, where they happily sipped on hot chocolates together.

Dave orchestrated a romantic proposal at the iconic Buckingham Fountain, catching Sam completely off guard. Anticipating a proposal during an upcoming trip to Spain, Sam was pleasantly surprised by the unexpected proposal. A chance encounter with a passing couple resulted in a serendipitous capture of their special moment, enhancing the magic of the day.

A heartfelt shoutout to Sam and Dave for graciously allowing me to be part of their love story for an evening. Spending time with this delightful couple was an absolute blast.
