Tori + Spencer’s Wedding

I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful summer day for Tori and Spencer’s elegant wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago in downtown Chicago! The entire day was bursting with happiness, with each passing moment bringing new depth to the once-in-a-lifetime love these two share. I think I can speak for everyone present when I say we couldn’t get enough – enough laughter, love, joy, dancing and Jewish tradition. We wanted the night to never end!

As you can tell from these photos, Tori and Spencer share a special type of connection that most people only dream of. Just look at the way Spencer is smiling at Tori in their First Look photos – those images literally say a thousand words!

The day was hot and sunny – over 90° – so it was perfect. Tori and Spencer decided to do their first look and wedding photos before the ceremony. We only spent about 40 minutes outdoors, which everyone was grateful for. And it was the perfect amount of time to capture some incredible images of Tori, Spencer and the wedding party.

The big day wouldn’t have been complete without Sammy – Tori and Spencer’s red poodle. Sammy played a starring role in their engagement photos last year and was once again the perfect addition to their photos. I love it when my couples let their unique personalities shine through and Sammy was truly a joy to involve in the photography process. Check out some of the fun, candid images we caught below!

Tori and Spencer were married under a chuppah in a traditional Jewish ceremony, followed by the breaking of glass to signify the finality of their union. The evening was threaded with meaningful Jewish rituals, and the guests had an AMAZING time dancing the Hora, or chair dance. Tori and Spencer truly outdid themselves with planning this sumptuous event and I know everyone had a brilliant time – especially considering the dance floor was still packed at midnight!

Tori and Spencer, thank you for inviting me to be part of your wedding day. I know the decades to follow will be filled with just as much (probably more, if such a thing is possible!) love and laughter as your wedding day!
