I was so excited to shoot this beautiful Greek wedding at Concorde Banquets for Angelika and Rob. This incredible couple got married this past Saturday at the idyllic Concord Banquets in Kildeer, IL. Walking into this venue was like walking into a fairytale garden. The small lake, full of swans in the middle of the garden, paired with a beautiful white gazebo and the most gorgeous trees and flowers made me feel that I was stepping into a dream.

Angelika and Rob are the perfect couple! Like many couples, they met through work and have built such a strong relationship. It was such a pleasure being able to work with them and hear the story of their relationship.

Traditional Orthodox Greek Wedding Ceremony at the Holy Taxiarhai and Saint Haralambos.

Although the day had on and off drizzle and overcast, the couple was able to show off their true love and true beauty. The ceremony was intimate and meaningful. Hosted at the Holy Taxiarhai and Saint Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Niles, IL, the couple engaged in a traditional Greek orthodox ceremony that I found to be extremely moving. It showcased the love for each other and their love for their heritage.

Surrounded by their loved ones, Angelika and Rob made a vow to love and to cherish one another till death do they part. It was touching to see the support they have and I know that all the support will help their marriage thrive.

This wedding post is the FIRST ONE of 2021 and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to start with than these two. Angelika and Rob, you are incredible. You were able to pull off the most beautiful ceremony despite facing challenges through this pandemic.
