I love to travel to new locations for weddings. It lets me explore new venues and get to see some pretty stunning views. Rachel and Keith had a lovely outdoor Big Foot Country Club wedding. I had never been to this venue but was very pleasantly surprised by the venue with its vast array of rivers, ponds, bridges, a waterfall, and a lot of flowers.

Rachel and Keith have been anticipating this day for a long time. In fact, they joke that they are still very excited to get married after short 500-ish days of planning since their 2020 wedding ceremony was canceled. Well, their wait totally paid off. They had the most beautiful day of the year so far!

Rachel and Keith have a unique start to their story. After meeting at a go-karting race in Indiana, they realized that they lived 4 blocks from each other back in Deerfield, IL, and went to the same high school. Rachel knew that the conversation had flowed so well and developed a crush on Keith. They became close friends and eventually started dating. They had a very romantic engagement on a beautiful cliff in a small town on the coast of Spain. Keith got down on one knee and popped the question and the rest is history.

An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Big Foot Country Club

Rachel spent the morning getting ready at the Geneva Inn. The Inn boasts the most incredible panoramic lakeside views. She had all her bridesmaids with her and had a lovely time. The first look also took place at the Inn where they read a letter from one another and exchanged gifts.

The wedding was stunning and the bride and groom got married in front of a gorgeous curricular flower arch overlooking the ponds of the Big Foot Country Club. We then snuck out of their reception afterward for some sunset images that are always a favorite.

The couple danced the night away with their loved ones and ended with a fun sparkler send-off. The couple is heading off to Mexico for a relaxing stay on a beach where they will celebrate their new lives as husband and wife.
