These Wrigley Building engagement photos are some of my favorites! Vivian and Bryan are an incredible couple who were a bit nervous at first at stepping in front of the camera. I can totally relate! However, one of my jobs and privileges as a photographer is to help a couple feel super comfortable and confident getting their picture taken. I can help you learn how to pose and give you prompts to help you smile. As soon as we started taking pictures though, Vivian and Bryan became naturals! Their love and respect for one another really came through in this session.
Vivian and Bryan met online about a year and a half ago and felt that they have clicked ever since. Vivian described Bryan as easy-going and that was something that I could see through our session. When it came time to ask the big question, Bryan planned to propose on New Year’s Eve. They were playing the game “Telestrations” with friends. Bryan was the last one to pass the book back to Vivian and on the last page of the book, he had drawn a ring and asked “will you marry me?” It was the loveliest surprise!
To celebrate their upcoming marriage, we traveled to the Wrigley Building to capture some classic downtown Chicago photos with the river and skyline in the backdrop. We then traveled to Olive Park to get some shots of the couple (and their cute dogs!) from the northeast side of the city. We had a great sunset to start but then the park was closed early and we had to end early. However, we captured some great photos that will last a lifetime.
Vivian and Bryan are planning to get married in April of 2022 at Lacuna Lofts in Chicago. For now, as they plan, they have these stunning Wrigley Building engagement photos to keep them excited for their upcoming wedding. I could not be happier for this couple. I wish them all the best as they plan for this big day!
