I had the incredible privilege of being part of Audrey and Aidan’s unforgettable wedding day at Cafe Brauer, one of Chicago’s most prestigious and iconic wedding venues. Situated in the heart of Lincoln Park, it boasts breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline. It is a dream location for couples looking to celebrate their special day in style.
Even though a few rain showers tried to crash the party, we weren’t about to let that spoil the fun. We still managed to capture some incredible outdoor portraits. I must say, I had an exceptional time working with Audrey and Aidan, turning what could have been a challenging situation into a memorable and fun experience. Turns out, Cafe Brauer is like the perfect canvas for a fall wedding.

Wedding Ceremony at Cafe Brauer’s Great Hall

The wedding ceremony at the Great Hall at Cafe Brauer was an emotional rollercoaster that went by in the blink of an eye. In fact, it set a new record – the shortest ceremony I’ve captured, a mere 8 minutes from start to finish!
Choosing a historic venue for your big day is akin to selecting a canvas with character, and Cafe Brauer certainly lived up to its reputation. The second-floor Great Hall, with its towering skylit roof, stained-glass windows, and intricate tile mosaics, set the scene for a love story like no other.
But let’s talk about the real showstopper – those floating candles suspended from the ceiling. They took Audrey and Aidan’s wedding ceremony and reception to a whole new level of glamor and elegance. The dreamy atmosphere they created was pure magic. It added that extra touch of romance to their vows and the celebration that followed. It was an enchanting day, to say the least!

Audrey and Aidan’s wedding at Cafe Brauer was all about that classic venue charm mixed with some fall magic. Rain or shine, their day was all about love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The Chicago skyline and the natural beauty of Lincoln Park gave this lovely couple the perfect backdrop to say their “I do’s.”
It was a total honor to capture the excitement of Audrey and Aidan’s big day. You can bet it’s a wedding that’ll be talked about for years to come. Heartfelt congratulations to both of you!
