Maureen and Dave, what an incredible honor it was to be the one photographing your wedding day. If I could describe your BIG day with just one word, that word would undoubtedly be joy! Everything seemed to flow so perfectly for Zach and Mallory on their wedding day. The rain didn’t start until we arrived at the beautiful Lacuna Lofts where they got married surrounded by loyal friends and family. When Zach started his wows, I could tell that it will be emotional. Sometimes I witness a wedding ceremony that makes it hard to breath even though I barely know the couple! Needless to say, there were a ton of happy tears and I learned that Zach can easily make Mallory laugh at any given moment.

Although I am not going to be the photographer on their BIG day next May, I am sure their wedding will be as amazing as their engagement session!! From beginning to end, we had an amazing light and the sunset over the river was one of the BEST I’ve ever seen!!

After photographing Laura and Derek’s engagement session this summer, I knew that they will have an awesome group of friends and family surround them on their wedding day. The ceremony and reception was at the historic Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge in Hinsdale which is one of my new favorite place to photograph. We had a GREAT weather, an amazing light and the energy and excitement of the wedding party throughout the whole day was obvious.
